Welcome to Transition Altitude
Real-world aviation knowledge. Written by a commercial pilot, explained for everyone

Our philosophy
Transition Altitude isn’t just a technical term — it’s a symbol. It’s the moment we climb above the horizon, into calm skies and new possibilities. That’s the spirit of this project: a place to learn, explore, and be inspired — just like crossing into smooth air above the noise.
Quick introduction about us
I’m a commercial pilot passionate about aviation, airplane systems, flight operations, and education. Each week, I share clear and engaging content that explains how airplanes really work — from complex hydraulic systems to cockpit workflows and decision-making. Whether you’re an aviation student, a curious enthusiast, or a fellow pilot, you’ll find practical knowledge and insight here.

Coming soon: Guide to the Boeing 737 classic
"Guide to the B737 Classic" is a light book based on both technical and less technical material about the generation of the Boeing 737 that, to this day, has probably logged the most miles and flight hours around the world.
My book
They say that in this life, before we die, everyone should write a book. I’ve always found it very pleasant and calming to spend hours writing down my knowledge, and at the same time, it’s a great way to refresh my memory. That’s why I’ve wanted to write one for a long time.
One day, I thought it could be a good idea to write about the B737 Classic, as it’s an aircraft that very few people fly these days (even fewer from my generation), and I’ve had the great fortune of working with one of these. This way, I could share all my knowledge and learn new things while writing my first book.
